PSS Conv USB/RS 232
Beschreibung
Der Adapter PSS Conv USB/RS
232 dient zur Anbindung eines PC
mit USB-Schnittstelle an
• die PG-Schnittstelle einer PSS
• die Anwenderschnittstelle einer
PSS oder
• die RS 232-Schnittstelle des
Sicherheitssystems PNOZmulti.
Um die Verbindung herzustellen, ist
zusätzlich zu dem Adapter ein
weiteres Kabel nötig.
Anschluss an die
PG-Schnittstelle der PSS
Welches Kabel für die Verbindung
des Adapters mit der PG-Schnitt-
stelle benötigt wird, hängt von dem
Typ und/oder der Version der PSS
ab.
Für die
• PSS SB 3006 DP-S und
• PSS SB 3006 IBS-S,
< Version 1.5
wird das Pilz Verbindungskabel
CAB RS 232 verwendet.
Für alle anderen PSS wird das Pilz
Verbindungskabel PSS PG CAB
RS 232 spez verwendet.

Bei der PSS SB 3006 IBS-S
ab Version 1.5 muss der
auf der PG-Schnittstelle
angebrachte Adapter
entfernt werden.

The PSS adapter Conv USB/RS
232 is used to connect a PC with
USB port to
• the PG interface of a PSS
• the user interface of a PSS or
• the RS 232 interface of the
PNOZmulti safety system.
In addition to the adapter, an extra
cable is needed in order to make
the connection.
Connection to the
PG interface of the PSS
The cable required to connect the
adapter to the PG interface
depends on the type and/or version
of the PSS.
For the
• PSS SB 3006 DP-S and
• PSS SB 3006 IBS-S,
< Version 1.5
the Pilz connection cable
CAB RS 232 is used.
All other PSS systems use
the Pilz connection cable
PSS PG CAB RS 232 spez.
INFORMATION
On the PSS SB 3006 IBS-S
from Version 1.5, the
adapter attached to the PG
interface must be removed.

Dans tous les autres PSS, c'est le
câble de connexion Pilz PSS PG
CAB RS 232 spez qui doit être utilisé.
INFORMATION
Dans le cas des PSS SB
3006 IBS-S à partir de la
version 1.5, l'adaptateur qui
équipe l'interface PG doit
être retiré.
