Maintenance of main machine

Fuel filter

Exercise caution when re-filling with fuel. Avoid
dirt entering the tank. Regularly check the
petrol filter (1) and clean when necessary.
Pull the filter out through the filling opening
using a bent hook made from steel wire.

Cooling fins

Keep the cooling fins on the engine clean and
free of dust.

Air intake

Ensure that the air intake to the engine is not
blocked.

Air filter

Clean the air filter (1) after 10 hours of use.
Clean the foam filter using compressed air.

Spark plug

Clean the spark plug after 10 hours of use
using a steel brush.
At the same time check that the gap between
the electrode and spark plug is between 0.6–
0.7 mm.
