INTENDED APPLICATION

• Your Blaupunkt Pressure Washer is a powerful cleaning machine that allows you to clean cars, bikes, patios, brickwork
and other areas or objects.
IMPORTANT: BEFORE YOU START
Bleeding the Pump:
Before connecting the pressure washer to the mains electric, it is very important that you fill the pump with water. To do
this assemble the pressure washer as below, connect to the mains water and squeeze the trigger on the gun until water
flows from it.
Automatic ON/OFF:
This pressure washer features Automatic On/Off this means that when the machine is powered ON, then the pump will
automatically operate when you squeeze the trigger - and that it will automatically switch off when you release it.
HOSE REEL
• This pressure washer is fitted with a hose reel for STORAGE only. Before operating the pressure washer it is important
to uncoil the hose from the reel to prevent damage to the pump.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This unit is to be connected to a cold water source ONLY.
• Assemble the lance by connecting the extension and nozzle tip to the handle.
• Uncoil the high pressure hose from the hose reel and connect it to the lance.
• Attach the hose connector to the water inlet, after checking for any blockages in the gauze filter.
• Connect mains water hose to the hose connector.
• Check the hose has no kinks in it.
• Turn on the water supply.
IMPORTANT: Squeeze the trigger of the lance until water flows from it.

• Connect to the mains electric supply
• Power on the machine - the pump will operate for a moment then stop.
• You are now ready to use the pressure washer.
SHUT DOWN
1. Turn off the motor(push switch to the off position).
2. Unplug the unit from the power source.
3. Turn off the water supply.
4. Press the trigger of the gun to depressurize the system.
5. Disconnect the garden hose from the pressure washer.
6. Wipe all surfaces of the unit with a damp clean cloth.
7. Engage the gun safety lock.
WARNING: It is important to depressurise the system after use, never disconnect the high pressure hose from the
lance with the system still pressurised - please especially note point 4.
WARNING:
ALWAYS turn off the unit's motor BEFORE turning off the unit's water supply.
Serious damage could occur to the motor if the unit is run without water.
ADJUSTABLE SPRAY NOZZLE
WARNING: Do not use the focused jet on delicate surfaces such as paintwork.
Turn off the spray lance first, hold the rear part of spray nozzle, then turn the front part of spray nozzle clockwise, Water
may be sprayed out from the spray nozzle in fan shapes (fig 2); Turn the front part of spray nozzle anti-clockwise, Water
may be sprayed out from the spray nozzle linearly (fig 1).
CAUTION:
Water should be sprayed out from the spray nozzle in fan shapes (fig 2),when cleaning the car or other vehicle.
DETERGENT TANK
IMPORTANT: The detergent tank is intended for detergents only and NOT for use with 'Snow Foam' cleaning fluids.
The detergent tank allows you to apply a range of cleaning fluids to a surface quickly, making cleaning easier.
• Check the filter on the tank inlet hose is free of blockages.
• Fill tank with detergent. If using a concentrate then mix to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Ensure that the high pressure hose is uncoiled from the machine and reasonably straight, not coiled in a heap.
• Remove the tip from the lance.
• Operate the pressure washer as normal and drench the area at low pressure until it is all wet.
• Allow the area to soak for the detergent manufacturer's recommended time - if no time is specified then approximately
15-20 minutes will suffice.
• Replace the nozzle tip and proceed to clean the area as normal.
