to the power supply. Move and store the appliance in upright position. After tilting
the appliance (e.g. after purchasing it), place the appliance on the desired work-
space and wait approx. 1 day, before use. Wait at least 2 hours after moving the
appliance (e.g. for emptying the water tank), before operation. Otherwise bubbles
in the refrigeration circle could damage the compressor.
NOTE
Similar to some other refrigerating devices, the compressor is assembled flexibly.
Therefore, when moving the appliance, the compressor may cause a clattering noi-
se. This is normal and no reason for concern. However, in general, please handle
the appliance with care and avoid knocks.
1. Unpack the appliance and all accessories carefully. Check that no parts are
damaged or missing (see: 'Knowing Your Ice Maker Bartender Pro'). Carefully
remove all shipping materials and promotional materials. However, do not remo-
ve any warning or information labels (e.g. the model label).
2. Select a sufficiently large workspace near a suited wall power outlet (see:
'Important Safeguards for Electrical Appliances'). However, ensure to place
the appliance in a distance of at least 50 cm (20 inch) to the power outlet.
The working surface must be dry, sufficiently stable, water-proof and level (see:
'General Safety Instructions').
IMPORTANT - Before unplugging the appliance, always switch off (press the
power button

3. Before first use and after an elongated period of storage, clean the appliance
(see: 'Care and Cleaning').
