Saw blade change mode
Caution: Switch the machine off and disconnect from the
mains before changing the saw blade.
Caution: Risk of injury!
Wear protective gloves
- Use the mode selector to select the
blade changing mode.
- In this mode it is possible to
remove and replace the blade.
Further information is contained
in the chapter 'Maintenance and
Troubleshooting'.
Toxic dust and fumes
Note:
Harmful or toxic dust may be produced when cutting lead painted
surfaces, woods or metal. Contact with, or inhalation of these
dusts can endanger the health of the operator or bystanders.
Certain dusts like oak or beech in conjunction with certain
additives in wood treatments (chromate, wood preservatives) are
considered cancerous. Asbestos-containing materials may only be
handled by experts.
- Use dust extraction if possible.
- Work in a well ventilated room.
- Wear dust mask.
Observe local regulations regarding the processing of certain
materials.
