Inbetriebnahme: Nach dem Einschalten des Gerätes
erfolgt ein Selbsttest und die Temperierung. Dieser
Vorgang dauert je nach Umgebungsbedingungen ca.
10 Min., wobei in dieser Zeit der angezeigte Wert vom
tatsächlichen Messwert abweicht.
Automatische Kalibrierung: Die automatische
CO2 Kalibrierung erfolgt im Intervall von 7 Tagen,
dadurch werden eventuelle Drifts kompensiert und
eine hervorragende Langzeitstabilität erreicht. Zur
Sicherstellung dieser Funktion muss das Gerät für
mindestens 7 Tage ohne Unterbrechung mit Strom
versorgt und innerhalb dieses Zeitraums einmal für
ca. 10 Minuten mit Frischluft (CO2-Gehalt ca. 400
ppm) belüftet werden.
Für die CO2 Kalibrierung speichert das Gerät den in
diesem Zeitraum gemessenen CO2-Minimalwert ge-
räteintern ab. Nach 7 Tagen wird dieser Minimalwert
auf 400 ppm CO2 normiert und das Ausgangssignal
entsprechend korrigiert. Die maximale Korrektur ist
hierbei auf die Hälfte der ermittelten Drift begrenzt.
Bei Unterschreiten von ca. 350 ppm als Messwert
wird die Kalibrierung auf 400 ppm initialisiert.
Die automatische Kalibrierung kann bei Bedarf de-
aktiviert und manuell durchgeführt werden.
Manuelle Kalibrierung: Die manuelle CO2 Kalib-
rierung des Ausgangssignals auf 400 ppm (Null-
punkt) wird durch das Betätigen des Tasters auf der
Platine gestartet. Vorher ist ein Dauerbetrieb von
min. 10 Minuten bei Frischluft sicherzustellen. Dazu
den „calib."-Taster ca. 5 Sek. gedrückt halten bis die
LED dauerhaft leuchtet. Sie haben nun 30 Sekun-
den Zeit, sich vom Messgerät zu entfernen um den
CO2-Wert nicht zu beeinflussen. Die Kalibrierung
wird anschließend gestartet. Nach erfolgreicher
Kalibrierung wird die LED deaktiviert.
Schwellschwelle einstellen: Die Schaltschwelle des
Wechslers kann mit einem Potentiometer eingestellt
werden.

Initial operation: After switch-on of the device fol-

Automatic calibration: The automatic CO2 cali-
bration takes place every 7 days, this compensates for
any drifts and achieves excellent long-term stability.
To ensure this function, the device must be supplied
with power for at least 7 days without interruption and
ventilated once with fresh air (CO2 approx. 400 ppm)
for approx. 10 minutes within this period.
For the CO2 calibration, the device saves the minimum
CO2 value measured during this period internally.
After 7 days, this minimum value is normalized to 400
ppm CO2 and the output signal corrected accordingly.
The maximum correction is limited to half of the deter-
mined drift. If the measured value falls below approx.
350 ppm, the calibration is initialized to 400 ppm.
The automatic calibration can be deactivated if neces-
sary and performed manually.
Manual calibration: The manual CO2 calibration of
the output signal to 400 ppm (zero point) is started
by pressing the button on the circuit board. Before
that, continuous operation of min. 10 minutes in
fresh air. To do this, keep the „calib. " Button pressed
for approx. 5 seconds until the LED lights up con-
tinuously. You now have 30 seconds to move away
from the measuring device so as not to affect the
CO2 value. The calibration is then started. The LED is
deactivated after successful calibration.
Setting the threshold value: The switching thres-
hold of the change-over contact can be set with a
potentiometer.
