1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieses Elektret-Kondensatormikrofon ist für Stereo-
Aufnahmen direkt an einem Computer konzipiert. Es
enthält zwei Kapseln als XY-Mikrofonsystem mit
einem Winkel von 90° zueinander. Der Anschluss
an den Computer erfolgt über eine USB 1.1- oder
USB 2.0-Schnittstelle.
Für die Tonaufnahme über den Computer kann
die mit dem Betriebssystem mitgelieferte Audio-Soft-
ware verwendet werden oder eine zusätzlich instal-
lierte Audio-Software. Verschiedene Audio-Aufnah-
meprogramme, z. B. „Audacity", sind als freie Soft-
ware im Internet erhältlich.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Das Mikrofon entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien
der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Setzen Sie das Mikrofon nur im Innenbereich ein.
Schützen Sie es vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu-
lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder
Wasser.

1 Applications
This electret condenser microphone is designed for
stereo recordings directly at a computer. It contains
two cartridges as an XY microphone system with an
angle of 90° to each other. It is connected to a com-
puter via a USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 interface.
For audio recordings via the computer the audio
software supplied with the operating system can be
used or an audio software installed additionally. Dif-
ferent audio recording programmes, e. g. "Audacity"
are available as free software on the Internet.
2 Important Notes
The microphone corresponds to all relevant direc-
tives of the EU and is therefore marked with

The microphone is only suitable for indoor use.
Protect it against humidity and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use
chemicals or water.

No guarantee claims for the microphone and no li-
ability for any resulting personal damage or ma-
terial damage will be accepted if the microphone
is used for other purposes than originally in-
tended, if it is not correctly connected, or not re-
paired in an expert way.

3 Inbetriebnahme
1) Die Mikrofonhalterung mit dem Schraubring am
Mikrofon befestigen. Die Mikrofonhalterung auf
das mitgelieferte Tischstativ oder ein anderes
Stativ mit 9,5-mm-Gewinde (
die Montage auf ein Stativ mit 15,9-mm-Ge winde
( 5 ⁄ ") den Gewindeadapter herausschrauben.

2) Das Mikrofon so ausrichten, dass die bedruckte
Seite in Richtung der Schallquelle zeigt. Wenn er-
forderlich, die Feststellschraube an der Halterung
lösen und nach dem Einstellen der Neigung wie-
der festdrehen.
3) Den Computer hochfahren.
4) Das beiliegende Kabel mit dem Mikrofon und mit
einem USB-Anschluss des Computers verbin-
den: Die blaue LED unterhalb der Membranen
leuchtet und das Mikrofon wird vom Betriebssys-
tem als USB-Toneingabegerät erkannt. Die er-
forderlichen Treiber – Standardtreiber des Be-
triebssystems – werden automatisch installiert.

3 Operation
1) Fix the microphone support with the threaded ring
to the microphone. Screw the microphone sup-
port onto the supplied desk stand or another

directed towards the sound source. If required,
release the setscrew at the support and retighten
it after adjusting the inclination.
3) Boot up the computer.
4) Connect the supplied cable to the microphone

blue LED below the diaphragms lights up and the
microphone is recognized by the operating sys-
tem as a USB audio input unit. The required driv-
ers – standard drivers of the operating system –
are automatically installed.
(In some cases it may be necessary to assign the
path of the drivers manually if they are not auto-
matically found by the operating system. If nec-
essary, install the required drivers via the original
CD of the operating system if they are not avail-
able on the computer.)
