GB Operating instructions
Before using your device, please read the
safety and operating instructions carefully.
Only then you will be able to use all the
functions safely and reliably. Keep this manual safe and
pass it on to any subsequent user.
Carbon Monoxide
Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odourless, colourless and
tasteless gas that lowers oxygen absorption upon
absorption by inhalation into the bloodstream and that
can lead to dizziness up to death depending on concen-
tration. CO can, for example, develop in incomplete
incineration processes of e.g. wood, fuel or petrol and
occur in the air due to blocked chimneys, defective
gas-powered household appliances and the like. The
first signs of carbon monoxide poisoning could be
headache, vertigo, indisposition and fatigue.
Proper use
The carbon monoxide detector warns you about increased
CO concentration in the air and a high-volume siren
(85 dBA) warns you about carbon monoxide poisoning.
This device is exclusively intended for use in private
domains in accordance with this manual and may not be
used for commercial purposes. It does not detect smoke,
fire or other gases. The manufacturer does not accept
any liability for damage caused due improper use.

Battery safety
Please read these instructions very carefully.
Disregarding these instructions can cause damages/
injuries and possibly even an explosion of batteries!
Do not short-circuit the contacts, for example by
common storage with metallic objects.
Do not expose batteries to long periods of direct sunlight
or heat.
Do not throw batteries into the fire.
Do not open batteries, they do not contain any parts that
need to be maintained.
Only replace batteries with the same type or with an
equivalent recommended by the manufacturer.
Never charge batteries.
Safety Instructions
- Do not use the device if it is damaged or appears to
be damaged.
- Locate the device out of the reach of children.
- The device is meant only for indoor use.
Please do not locate the device in moist areas
in the vicinity of water or at places, see chap-
ter "Installation Location" .
- Follow the regulary the Self test function as described
below. Pay attention to the battery low warning
system.
- Observe the audible alarm when the battery is low,
see chapter "Battery Alarm System".
