SSD/HDD Installation
ATTENTION! During the HDD assembly all cabling has to be disconnected
from the computer.
1.
Open the enclosure with the six screws on the lid.
2.
Put your HDD/SSD to the SATA interface. Make sure that you
put it in with a light angle.
3.
Put the lid back on the enclosure and screw it on with the six
screws.
HINT! Ensure that the lid is correctly fitted to ensure proper sealing.
Application
•
The external HDD can be connected or disconnected from the
computer via USB cable without shutting down the computer.
•
Please await the end of read/write operations before disconnecting
the HDD to avoid data lost.
•
A new HDD must first be initialised, partitioned and formatted by the
operation system to be displayed by the system.
•
If the hard disc isn't recognised instantly by the operating system please
check:
- if the driver software is installed (USB)
- if the HDD is initialised, partitioned and formatted
