CLEANING, CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Tip:
In order to avoid an excessive amount of water from coming out of the spray nozzle, do not press the steam discharge
button for longer than 5 seconds.
In order to avoid the formation of water spotting stains, the steam discharge button should only be used at high
temperature settings.
After Use/Storage
• Set the steam regulator to the position "no steam".
• Remove the plug and let the appliance completely cool down before further use (e.g. emptying the water tank,
putting the appliance away). Please bear in mind that the stainless steel soleplate will be very hot for some time
after the appliance is turned off.
• Open the cover of the water filling opening and empty the water tank completely.
• Remove any possible water remnants on the appliance with a cloth.
• In order to protect the stainless steel soleplate, always store the appliance vertically on its heel plate.

Warning!
Before cleaning and filling or refilling the water, always turn off the appliance first, remove the plug and allow the
appliance to cool down completely.
• Do not let any stains dry. Clean the appliance as soon as possible after use.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or wash it directly with water.
• The exterior surfaces of the appliance can be cleaning with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Ensure that no liquid
enters the appliance while doing so (e.g. controls). Rub the surface dry with a soft cloth afterwards.
• Do not use any harsh cleaning products, alcohol, scouring powder, scouring pads, wire brushes or any other hard
objects to clean the stainless steel soleplate which could damage the surface.
• The electrical cable and plug may only be wiped with a dry cloth.
Self Cleaning Function
In order to ensure the readiness of this appliance, it must be cleaned at regular intervals. The intervals are dependent
upon the degree of hardness of the water used and the frequency of use.
