OPERATION
Dry Ironing
•
Dry ironing is also possible when the water container is full. It is, however, not advisable to fill the water container to
its maximum level in this case.
•
Set the steam regulator to the "no steam" position.
•
Set the temperature control to the appropriate temperature setting.
•
Plug the appliance into a standardly installed outlet.
•
The indicator lights on the appliance will light up immediately after the appliance is connected to the power supply.
The appliance will heat up to the temperature that has been set!
•
As soon as the appliance has the reached the temperature that has been set, the indicator lights will go out and the
appliance will be ready to use.
•
In order to avoid damage arising from textiles sticking to the stainless steel soleplate, you should not place the
appliance on the fabric immediately after it has reached the desired temperature (when the indicator lights go out).
Wait a few seconds before you begin ironing.
•
The desired temperature will be regulated by the appliance automatically during use. The indicator lights will turn on
while heating up or reheating.
Warning!
Steam Ironing
•
To iron with steam, the container must be filled with water and the temperature control must be set to "••" or "•••".
•
Plug the appliance into a standardly installed out.
•
After the appliance has reached the desired temperature and the indicator lights have gone out, set the steam
regulator to the desired setting.
•
An uninterrupted discharge of steam is only possible when the appliance is in a horizontal position. The discharge
of steam will be interrupted if the appliance is positioned vertically or if the steam regulator is set to the "no steam"
position.
Spray Function
•
If enough water is in the container, the spray function can be used at any temperature setting.
•
In order to spray the fabric, press down on the spray button while ironing.
Steam Discharge
•
With this function, a short additional spray of steam can be discharged, for example, to dampen and smooth
severely creased areas.
•
To use this function, the temperature control must be set to "••" or "•••".
•
Set the steam regulator to the maximum steam setting.
•
To discharge a spray of steam, press down on the steam discharge button while ironing.
•
If you are holding the appliance vertically, a vertical spray of steam can also be discharged by using the steam
discharge button.
