Recommendations and maintenance

Saving battery power
If you intend not to wear your watch during several weeks or
even months, we recommend you to pull out the crown to
position 2 before pulling it. In this way you will save battery
power.
Replacing the battery
Please do not try to change the battery by yourself. In or-
der to preserve its water resistance all the gaskets will be
replaced when changing the battery. Therefore we strongly
recommend you to take your Mathieu Legrand® watch to an
official Service Center. Discharged batteries should be remo-
ved from the watch as soon as possible. Used batteries may
leak dangerous fluids that could damaged the internal quartz
mechanism of your Mathieu Legrand® watch.
Regular inspection of your watch
If you need a battery replacement for your watch, it is actu-
ally the perfect time to send it to our Service Center for ex-
amination and maintenance. This is a preventive measure to
guarantee a perfect function of your watch along the years.
Maintenance covers the following services: Replacement of
the battery, control of the movement´s operating parameters,
the cleaning of the case and the metal bracelet and finally the
replacement of all water-resisting gaskets as well as a water
resistance test. Please contact our official Service Center for
a quotation.
Batteries may not be thrown into the garbage bin.
You, as end consumer, are obliged to bring them back for
recycling either to the watch dealer where you bought the
product or to an official site nearby. Please check local re-
gulations.
