Find the screw (A) of the terminal cover on the back of the motion sensor, and use a cross
head screwdriver to remove the screw and terminal cover (B). Then loosen the three termina
screws (C), (D), and (E).
B
A
Connect the power supply to the termi nals marked "L" (live) and "N" (neutral), and the wire from the
lamp socket to the terminal
.
Tighten the connection terminal screws.
Check that the cables are not squeezed, bent or damaged in any other way.
Adjust the rotary controls TIME (1) and LUX (2); refer to "Operation" for further instructions.
c) Switch the Power Supply ON
Turn the corresponding circuit breaker and/or automatic fuse back ON.
If the sensor does not function correctly, immediately turn the circuit breaker OFF and/or automatic fuse.
Check the connection to the power circuit.
When power supply is switched on, the motion sensor takes 30 seconds to activate.
d) Mounting
The motion sensor is designed to be mounted to a ceiling, and has two mounting options.
Option 1: Mounting bracket
Mount the motion sensor on ceiling using the supplied mounting bracket.
Connect the wires from the power supply and the lamp socket to the motion sensor. See the sections
about electrical connection.
Find a suitable place on the ceiling. Use the two small holes on the mounting bracket (4) to mark two
holes on the selected place.
Drill two holes on the marked positions, then secure two supplied dowels into
the two drilled holes separately.
Fix the mounting bracket to the ceiling: insert two supplied screws through
the two holes of the mounting bracket, then secure the two screws into the
two dowels separately.
Remove the two mounting springs (3) from the motion sensor, then attach
and tighten the motion sensor to the mounting bracket.
Option 2: Recessed mounting
Mount the motion sensor into ceiling using the mounting springs to hold it in place.
Connect the wires from the power supply and the lamp socket to the motion sensor. See the sections
about electrical connection.
Hold the motion sensor and position the two springs (3) into the upright as shown. With the springs in
the upright position, insert the springs to the hole or installation box on the ceiling. The motion sensor is
secured in the hole or installation box with the spring tension.

Operation

a) "TIME" (Switch-On Time)
You can set a switch-on time to control how long the connected load stays on.
Rotating the TIME (1) dial counter-clockwise will decrease the duration.
Rotating clockwise will increase the duration.
Settings include 10 seconds (±3 seconds) up to 30 minutes (±2 minutes).
If new motion is detected during the switched-on time, the timer will
reset and start again. The load will stay switched on.
b) "LUX" (Brightness Setting)
You can adjust the switching threshold based on ambient light levels.
Rotating LUX (2) counter-clockwise activates motion detection when it gets dark.
Rotating LUX (2) clockwise towards the sun
detection in brighter conditions.
c) Function Test
To optimize the sensor settings so that the connected load is triggered under the desired conditions, you may
need to perform a function test.
Set the time TIME (1) to the minimum duration 10S.
Set the light LUX (2) level to the highest setting.
Walk across the detection area. The motion detector will activate the connected load if it detects a
movement within the detection area. If needed, fine tune the rotary controls after the functional test.
