• Ensure that the processor is powered on and the
selected program supports headpiece (AquaMic)
microphone input. If the program does not support
headpiece microphone input, select the appropriate
slot setting that does. If you are unsure, contact
your hearing healthcare specialist for programming
assistance.
• Please note that you may notice a slight sound
quality difference when switching between your BTE
microphone program and your headpiece microphone
program.
Naída CI AquaCase™
The AquaCase™ container has been designed for use with
the Naída CI during swimming, bathing and exposure to
other wet or rugged environments.
The AquaCase is intended for use by unilateral or bilat-
eral Advanced Bionics Naída sound processor recipients
who have the ability to notify a parent/caregiver or have
the ability to remove the device on their own, if there is a
change in sound quality.
These instructions for use are designed to help recipients,
parents, and caregivers understand the use and care
of the AquaCase. To ensure proper installation of the
AquaCase, recipients with limited strength or ease of
motion may require assistance from a guardian or
caregiver to achieve a tight seal and proper handling of
the AquaCase in accordance with the instructions.
