Check at walking speed that the brakes are working. If necessary,
adjust the brakes. Use the M5 hexagon wrench provided to loosen
the bolt attached to the brake caliper lever arm. Now push the lever
arm a little bit to the right and tighten the screw again carefully. If
the brake is too loose, loosen the screw slightly, pull the lever arm
slightly to the left and then tighten the screw again carefully.

Adjust the handlebars to your size. You can adjust the handlebars by
opening the quick release at the front of the handlebars, pulling the
handlebars out and closing the quick release again.
Charging the battery
Please note that for safety reasons the scooter is only delivered partially
loaded. Therefore, it makes sense to first charge the scooter after receipt.
Turn the protective cap to the side for charging.
The charging socket is located at the front right of the scooter frame for
the Exit-Cross.
First connect the charger to the power outlet. Then connect the charging
cable to the socket on the scooter. Please make sure that the Exit-Cross
does not tip over onto the connector.
Please charge only under supervision, ideally on a fireproof, electrically
non-conductive base.
