Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Stereo-Mikrofon ECM-220ST ist für den profes-
sionellen Einsatz im Studio geeignet. Die zwei Back-
Elektret-Kapseln mit Nierencharakteristik benötigen
jeweils eine 48-V-Phantomspeisung für den Betrieb.
Das Mikrofon ist übertragersymmetriert und verfügt
über ein schaltbares Low-Cut-Filter.
Zum Lieferumfang gehören ein Kunststoffkoffer,
ein Mikrofonhalter sowie ein 5-m-Anschlusskabel.
Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Mikrofon entspricht der EMV-Richtlinie für elek-
tromagnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
Setzen Sie das Mikrofon nur im Innenbereich ein
und schützen Sie es vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu-
lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
Wird das Mikrofon zweckentfremdet, falsch ange-
schlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann
keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder
Personenschäden und keine Garantie für das
Mikrofon übernommen werden.
GB Electret Stereo Microphone
Applications
The stereo microphone ECM-220ST is suitable for
professional studio applications. The two back elec-
tret cartridges of unidirectional characteristic each re-
quire a 48 V phantom power for operation. The micro-
phone is balanced by transformer and is equipped
with a switchable low cut filter.
A plastic case, a microphone support, and a 5 m
connection cable are supplied with the microphone.
Safety Notes
The microphone corresponds to the directive for elec-
tromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
The microphone is only suitable for indoor use. Pro-
tect it against humidity and heat (admissible am-
bient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
No guarantee claims for the microphone and no lia-
bility for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the microphone is used
for other purposes than originally intended, if it is

Inbetriebnahme
1) Das Mikrofon in den beiliegenden Halter schieben
und diesen auf ein Mikrofonstativ schrauben:
Bei einem Stativ mit 16-mm-Gewinde (
Adapterschraube am Halter entfernen und den Hal-
ter direkt aufschrauben. Bei einem Stativ mit 9-mm-

Gewinde ( ") den Halter über die Adapterschrau-

be befestigen.
2) Die 5-polige XLR-Kupplung des beiliegenden Ka-
bels an das Mikrofon anschließen.
3) Die zwei 3-poligen XLR-Stecker des Kabels (graue
Markierung am Stecker = linker Kanal, rote Markie-
rung am Stecker = rechter Kanal) mit zwei symme-
trischen XLR-Mikrofoneingängen am Audiogerät,
z. B. Mischpult, verbinden. Die Eingänge müssen
jeweils mit einer Phantomspeisung von 48 V
ausgestattet sein.
Stellt das Audiogerät keine Phantomspeisung
bereit, das Mikrofon über ein externes Phantom-
speisungsgerät (z. B. EMA-200 von „img Stage
Line") an das Audiogerät anschließen.

Operation
1) Slide the microphone into the supplied support and
screw the support on a microphone stand:
In case of a stand with 16 mm (
move the adapter screw on the support and screw
on the support directly. In case of a stand with 9 mm

2) Connect the 5-pole XLR inline jack of the supplied
cable to the microphone.
3) Connect the two 3-pole XLR plugs of the cable
(grey coding on the plug = left channel, red coding
on the plug = right channel) to two balanced XLR
microphone inputs on the audio unit, e. g. mixer.
The inputs must each be equipped with a phantom
power of 48 V DC.
If the audio unit does not provide any phantom
power, connect the microphone via an external
phantom power unit (e. g. EMA-200 from "img
Stage Line") to the audio unit.

4) Zur Absenkung tiefer Frequenzen verfügt das Mi-
krofon über ein Low-Cut-Filter (Hochpass). Zum
Einschalten des Filters den versenkten Schalter
mit einem schmalen Gegenstand (z. B. kleiner
Schraubendreher) in die Position
