/ If the water flow check reveals a reduction (drawing point has been closed), then the shut-off valve re-
mains open. The water drawing measured values are reset.
/ If the water flow check does not reveal any reduction (drawing point has been closed), then the control
sensor shut-off valve is immediately closed. The shut-off valve remains closed.
The automatic opening and checking of the water flow after shutting of the shut-
off valve enables the resetting of the closing action without having to press the
manual button of the control sensor. It must solely be ensured that, after closing
of the control sensor, the drawing point remains closed for longer than 30 s. The
control unit intelligence then recognizes that users are at home and intentionally
wanted and then stopped the too large water volume.
After closing of the leak protection due to
- exceeding of a limit
- holiday mode
- manual operation
a check must then be performed to determine if there is a leak in the water pipe
system.
NOTE:
If a hot water heating system is fitted, especially in the case of gas or electric com-
bi-boilers or shower heaters, then before opening the leak protection, the manu-
facturer's instructions for the hot water heater must be inspected (instructions
for bleeding)!

OPENING/CLOSING OF THE SHUT-OFF VALVE USING
THE MANUAL PUSHBUTTON
The cover must be removed to enable pressing of the manual pushbutton.
Brief pressing of the manual pushbutton opens and closes the isolation valve. The green "Open" LED illu-
minates when the isolation valve is open. If the manual pushbutton is pressed briefly, the shut-off valve
closes in approximately 20 s. The red "Closed" LED flashes during closing. The red "Closed" LED illumi-
nates if the shut-off valve is closed.
If the shut-off valve is closed and the manual pusbutton is pressed briefly, the shut-off valve opens. The
green "Open" LED flashes during opening. The green "Open" LED illuminates when the shut-off valve is ful-
ly open.
During reopening of the shut-off valve a check must be performed to determine
whether the functioning of downstream installed devices (e.g. washing machine,
water softening systems, etc.) has been affected by shutting off of the water.
