Getting Started
T he device to which the measurement microphone is to be connected must work with
phantom power (9-52 V/DC) to power the microphone.
T o avoid distortion or mismatching, which could damage the microphone or the con-
nected audio device, the microphone may only be connected to suitable microphone
inputs. Please refer to the connection data contained in the "Technical data" section.
T o connect the microphone, only use a suitable shielded microphone cable. Use of
other cables may lead to interference.
N ever point the microphone towards the sound exits of loudspeakers, as this may lead
to acoustical feedback that could damage the loudspeakers or the connected device.
• Mount the microphone clip onto a microphone stand.
• Insert the shaft of the microphone into the clip designed for the microphone.
• Switch off the device to which the microphone is connected.
• Connect the microphone input of your device to the XLR connector on the microphone.
• On your audio or measurement device, enable phantom power for the microphone.
• Turn your audio or measurement device on.
• Adjust the sensitivity of your audio device by using the corresponding input level control on the
microphone (see the instructions for the audio device).
