Zeitrelais – in-case Serie
Bistable (Flip-Flop) Relais - ITT16
FEATURES
All common supply voltages on one unit
3 toggle functions
4 Flip/Flop functions
3 timing functions (1min -10min) selected by rotary switch
SPCO configuration
LED indication for power supply, failure, output relay status,
timers operating, control contact and timer
22,5mm DIN rail mount housing
Time function and time ranges are selected using the rotary switches
on
the front plate. The bistable relay ITT16 can operate on either
mains voltage or extra low voltage using two separate connections. All
common supply voltages are on one type.
To connect to 115..230Vac the terminals A1+A2 are used. For a
24Vac/dc supply use the terminals A24+A2.
Depending on which timing function is selected the time elapse is
started either by connecting the relay to the supply voltage or by
external control contact(s) connected to B1 (and B2).
R1 is galvanically isolated from the power supply
terminals
A24+A1+A2.
LED STATUS INDICATION
The presence of the supply voltage is indicated with
a green LED (U), an active state of the control
contacts (B1, B2) and the output relay (R1) with a
yellow LED, active timer (t1) with yellow flashing
LED and a red LED represents a device or setting
fault condition.
CONTROLS
The controls of the in-case series are colour coded
for simplicity. Blue potentiometers or rotary switches
are used for set values, time settings are yellow, the
time range of a reaction timer is red, and
percentage hysteresis is always grey.
The supply voltage must not be removed before
making any changes or settings of the controls.
If either time range or time function is changed
(changes of the selector switch position) a red
LED is active for a short time for checking
purposes. The new settings are immediately
active. Depending on the change of the settings,
the
output
relay
might
be
switched
off
temporary.
The ITT16 features a blue rotary switch for function setting and two
yellow rotary switches that are used for time settings.
TIME SETTING
Am gelben Bedienelement wählt man den Zeitbereich für den Timer
(t1). Es stehen hierfür folgende
Setting of the time ranges can be easily adjusted using the yellow
rotary switch located on the front plate:
With the yellow rotary switch the time range for t1 is selected. The
following ten options are available: 1 minute (1min), 2 minutes (2min),
3 minutes (3min), 4 minutes (4min), 5 minutes (5min), 6 minutes
(6min), 7 minutes (7min), 8 minutes (8min), 9 minutes (9min) and 10
minutes (10min).
TIME FUNCTION SETTING
The required time function is selected using the blue rotary switch on
the front plate.
Diagram: Time is plotted on the X-axis, signal status on the Y-axis.
Status OFF or ZERO is shown on the base line, status ON or
‚signal/voltage present' is stepped upward.
Abbreviations used in the time function diagrams:
U
supply voltage
B
external control input, starting contact (B1, B2)
R
relay, output relay (R1)
t
preset delay time, time duration (t1)
Ts – bistable with external control input
NORMAL: U (indicated by a green LED) must be present to control
the output relay R using the external control input (B). Every time B1 is
energised (rising edge), R1 changes state. On the application of a
signal at B, R pulls in if R has been dropped out or drops out if R has
been pulled in.
POWER OFF: If U is removed when R is pulled in, R drops out and its
ON/OFF status is lost. On re-application of U the R status can not be
re-established Therefore the function restarts from the beginning.
Tse – toggled with control input and enable
NORMAL: U and B2 as enable must be present to control the output
relay status (R). Every time B1 is energized (rising edge), R changes
the state. On the application of a signal at B, R pulls in if R has been
dropped out or drops out if R has been pulled in.
SPECIAL TIMING: If B2 is inactive, the state of R is not changed if B1
is energised (rising edge).
POWER OFF: If U is removed when R is pulled in, R drops out and its
ON/OFF status is lost. On re-application of U the R status can not be
re-established Therefore the function restarts from the beginning.
Tsev - toggled with control button and inverted enable
NORMAL: U must be present and no signal must be present at B2 as
enable to be able to change the output relay status (R). Every time B1
is energized (rising edge), R changes the state. On the application of a
signal at B, R pulls in if R has been dropped out or drops out if R has
been pulled in.
SPECIAL TIMING: Liegen an beiden Steuereingängen (B1+B2)
