Directions for use
• When you plug in the appliance, the red indicator light turns on. This is the power light.
• Set the thermostat as required for the recipe.
• After about 7 minutes of heating, the green indicator light turns on; the appliance is then ready for
cooking. This light tells when the pre-heating is over.
• The green light goes out and lights up again regularly during the cooking process, to show that the
selected temperature is maintained.
• Pour the waffle batter into the appliance. Close and wait for about 10 seconds. Then turn over the
appliance until the cooking time is up.
• Check that the appliance is cold and unplugged before handling the plates.
• To remove the plates:
- open the appliance,
- press the eject button of the plate (6) or (8) and lift the plate with the other hand,
- pull the plate at an angle to release the lugs from the slots (5) on the rear of the appliance.
• To insert the plates:
- open the appliance,
- insert the plate at an angle to slide the lugs into their slots (5) on the rear of the appliance,
- press the plate on the front of the appliance on the handle side until you hear it click into place.
Cleaning
• Check that the appliance is cooled and unplugged before cleaning and storing.
• Use a sponge, hot water and washing up liquid to clean the cooking plates and the body of the
appliance.
• The appliance and its power cord must not be put in the dishwasher.
