Vacuuming
Vacuuming dust
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the appli-
ance! If the filter is wet when vacuuming dry
dust, the filter can clog and become unusa-
ble.
If the filter is wet, allow it to dry thoroughly
before use.
– Insert the dust bag (► Insert the dust bag –
p. 21).
– Switch on the appliance.
Vacuuming liquids
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the appli-
ance! Never use the dust bag for wet vacu-
uming.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the appli-
ance! Switch the appliance off immediately
if there is foam formation or a liquid leak, or
if the dirt container is full.
– Remove the dust bag as required.
– Inserting the foam filter (► Inserting the foam fil-
ter – p. 21).
– Switch on the appliance.
Note: If the dirt container is full, a float
closes the vacuum opening, and the motor
runs at an increased speed.

can easily remedy most of these yourself. Please
consult the following table before contacting the ven-
