SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- before using the appliance for the first time please
read carefully this operating manual
- the appliance should be connected to sockets
compliant with current parameters given on the
housing
- for additional protection, installation of a
faulty-current protection unit with an
activation power rating of not more than 30mA is
recommended for the power circuit
in the bathroom; ask an electrician for advice
- the appliance becomes very hot when in use; avoid
its contact with your skin and the power cable
- The device can be used by children aged 8 and
older and by persons with limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or persons without sufficient
experience and knowledge only under supervision or
if previously instructed on the safe use of the
appliance and the possible risks. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
that are the responsibility of the user shall not be
carried out by children without supervision. Protect
the appliance and the power cord against children
under 8 years old.
- the appliance must always be disconnected before
cleaning and preservation as well
as in case of malfunction, after using or a break in
using even for a short time
- the appliance should be disconnected by pulling on
the plug, not on the power cable
While shaping the hair you should not use the
appliance for a long time not to overheat the hair
- do not use the appliance for artificial hair
- never use the appliance when wet, with wet hands or
near showers, water in baths, washbasins or other
vessels
- when used in the bathroom, the appliance must be
disconnected after use because
water proximity is dangerous even if the appliance is
switched off
- the appliance must not be submersed in water or
sprayed with water
- the appliance must not be left switched on
unsupervised
