OTHER FUNCTIONS
The device supports the control of a standartized Multi-Function steering
wheel. The control buttons correlate to the buttons of your VX7. The
functionality can change from car to car and year of construction.
The display (FIS/MID/FID) between the tachometer is supported as well and
shows the RDS informations of the current radio channel in radio mode.
The video playback gets disabled while you are driving. You will only hear the
sound of the vurrent medium. This serves the safety of you and your passangers.
The avoiding of this function may be illegal and result in fees.
If you installed front monitors with the Dual-Zone cable, you will be able to
watch AV media there. The media playback is activated during driving.
If you installed a rear view camera correctly it will appear as soon as you
engage the reverse. This happens as well if your device is deacivated. As
soon as you change the gear, the VX7 will go back to the last application.
The camera gets activated even while booting, so you dont have to wait
until the device has fully loaded. The moving CAN bus parking lines get
generated automatically.
A pre-installed OPS system will be completely adopted. As soon as you
engage the reverse gear, the OPS system will show up. Even if you park out
frontal, the frontal PDC will be shown for a moment. But if you have PDC
your are not guaranteed to have OPS. If your PDC system gets displayed buy
your standard radio, you got OPS. You cannot expand the OPS system with
our devices!
