4. Connect Sous Vide to household power outlet. There will be a beep and the
display will flash very briefly. Press the POWER button and hold for more than
three seconds. The LCD screen will illuminate and the current water
temperature will display and flash in the middle of the screen.
5. Press the POWER and SET button at the same time if you need to switch the
temperature readings from Celsius (˚C) to Fahrenheit (˚F) or vice versa.
6. Set the desired cooking temperature using the thumb wheel just under the
display. Scroll up or down to increase or decrease to the desired
temperature which will be confirmed in the display in the upper right hand
corner of the display. Maximum temperature setting is 203˚F/95˚C.
7. Press the SET button and the "SET TIME" display will flash. This would be if you
want to delay the start of the Sous Vide. First use the thumb wheel to set the
number of hours, which will be flashing. Then press SET and you can do the
same for minutes, which will be flashing. Press set again and "SET TIME" is now
in place.
NOTE: Maximum "SET TIME" is 99:59. If you do not want a delayed start, leave "SET
TIME" display at 00:00 and just hit SET button twice to advance to "WORK TIME"
menu.
8. "WORK TIME" is to set the desired amount of cooking time once the Sous Vide
has reached the desired water temperature. The hours display will be flashing.
Use the thumb wheel to scroll up or down to the desired number of hours.
Press "SET" button and follow the same steps to set the desired number of
minutes. When you have desired minutes, press "SET" button and "WORK
TIME" is now in place.
NOTE: Maximum "WORK TIME" is 99:59. If you do not set a "WORK TIME", unit will
continue to run in order to maintain the designated temperature.
9. Press the POWER button and SET TIME display will start counting down and
circulator will turn on automatically when it reaches 00:00. If SET TIME is at
00:00 to start, circulator will turn on immediately and temperature will start
increasing toward the desired water temperature shown in the upper right hand
corner of the display. When the water reaches the desired set temperature, the
WORK TIME clock, if set, will start counting down. When WORK TIME reaches
00:00, the Sous Vide will beep once and stop heating. If WORK TIME was not
set, unit will continue to run to maintain SET temperature unless water falls
below MIN mark.
