The drinking fountain has a 2 year guarantee from the date of purchase. Your cash receipt serves as proof of purchase. The guarantee is limited to
any defect arising due to faulty materials or manufacture (with the exception of the pump which has a 1 year warranty). This warranty is not valid
for products that have been installed incorrectly or used improperly. We are not responsible for accidental damage or negligence. Please return faulty
products to your dealer or supplier for repair or replacement.

De drinkfontein heeft een garantie van 2 jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum. Uw kassabon dient hiervoor als bewijs. Deze garantie dekt verkeerd vakman-
schap en defecten als gevolg van een productiefout (met uitzondering van de pomp die slechts 1 jaar garantie heeft). Deze garantie geldt niet voor
producten die naar onze mening niet naar behoren werden geïnstalleerd of gebruikt. Er kan geen aansprakelijkheid worden aanvaard voor eventuele
defecten die zijn veroorzaakt door accidentele schade of nalatigheid. Gelieve defecte producten terug te bezorgen aan uw dealer of leverancier voor
reparatie of vervanging.

Safety instructions
•
Ensure that the voltage of the adaptor corresponds with the electrical
power supply of your home.
•
In order to avoid electrical shocks,
ALWAYS
unplug the power supply
before disassembling or cleaning the fountain. Also the plug must not
be connected during the assembly of the fountain.
• Never let the pump run dry. Always ensure that there is enough
water in the fountain. The water level may never
be below the MIN level (see picture 7). Fill the reservoir first with
water up to the MAX level before connecting
the pump to the power supply.
•
Use the pump only for the Volcano drinking fountain. This pump is not
suitable for other applications.
•
Regularly check the product's performance. If you notice any
irregularities disconnect the fountain.
•
Use the fountain only indoors.
•
The Volcano is only suitable for cats and small dogs - do not use the
fountain for other purposes.
•
Make sure that the fountain cannot be damaged or be chewed.
•
The fountain is not suitable for use by children.

First use
Clean the fountain, especially the top part/source (2), first with mild
detergent.
Adjusting flow rate
•
Disconnect the pump from the power supply.
•
Lift up the Volcano's top part and take the pump out of the water tank.
•
Adjust the flow rate with the small lever
(A).
•
Replace the pump and the top part and reconnect the fountain.

Maintenance
Monitor regularly if the water level is above the MIN level in the water
tank. If not, fill the fountain immediately with water up to the MAX level.
Clean your fountain weekly. Before dismantling the fountain, always
disconnect the plug from the power supply first. Clean the fountain
(except the pump and the filter)
with a soft sponge and mild detergent
or wash it in the dishwasher.
We advise you to replace the filter every month if 1 pet uses the fountain.
When used by 2 or more pets, we recommend you to replace the filter
more regularly in order to avoid a possible blockage. A blocked filter will
cause the pump not to work properly or fail prematurely.
Clean the impeller if the pump appears dirty or stops working properly.
First disconnect the pump from the power supply. Open the pump,
remove the cap and take the impeller out of the pump (B). Remove the
dirt from the impeller and clean the impeller carefully with a cotton swab.
To prevent lime scale, follow the same procedure and place the impeller
in a mixture of 50% warm water and 50% vinegar. Also fill the impeller's
chamber with this mixture. After 2-3 hours, rub off the lime scale from the
impeller and chamber with a cotton swab. Rinse all the parts thoroughly
and reassemble.
Troubleshooting
1) The pump does not pump water or gurgles.
•
When using for the first time or after cleaning, wait a few minutes for
any trapped air to be dispersed.
•
Make sure that the water reaches the Max level and that filter cartridge
does not need to be renewed.
•
The pump needs maintenance, see the chapter on Maintenance.
•
The pump is damaged and needs to be replaced.
2) My cat or dog does not want to drink out of the
fountain.
Although running water attracts most pets, some pets may need to get
used to their new drinking area. It is important that you encourage your
pet to drink out of the fountain. Remove other drinking areas and remove
the top part of the fountain. Your pet will get used to your fountain within
the next few days. Replace the top part and reconnect the fountain and
observe the drinking behaviour of your pet for the first few days to make
sure it drinks enough water to avoid dehydration.
3) The fountain is noisier than usual.
•
Check if the top part is installed correctly.
