Operation
a) Rubber Jaw Pads
Use the rubber jaw pads to help prevent scratching or marring of delicate work pieces.
Do not use the rubber pads to grip objects that may get hot during work e.g. soldering and
brazing. The heat may cause the pads to deform or burn.
• The rubber jaw pads are designed to fit over the metal jaws (1).
• They should be used to protect delicate work pieces from getting scratched or marred, and to improve
grip.
b) Clamping the Vice
• Unwind the clamp screw handle (7) until clamp is wide enough to fit onto the work surface.
• Slide the clamp as far as you can onto the work surface checking that the clamp jaws make good contact
with the surface.
• Tighten the screw handle (7) to secure the vice to the work surface.
c) Clamping the Work Piece
• Unwind the slide screw handle (3) to open the jaws (1).
• Line the work piece up between the jaws.
• Wind the slide screw handle (3) until the jaws make good contact with the work piece.
• Check that the work piece is securely clamped, and the maximum surface area of the jaws support the
object.
d) Vice Swivel
• Turn the swivel lever (5) anticlockwise to unlock the swivel arm.
To help release the swivel when unlocked, you may need to release the holding tension by
nudging the vice body (8) with the palm of your hand.
• Adjust the swivel arm (2) as needed.
• Tighten the swivel lever (5) to lock the position.

• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can cause
