Two-Device Amplifier

Intended Use
The two-device amplifier splits an existing antenna line and allows you to share it on two de-
vices. The antenna signal is amplified accordingly.
The product may only be connected to suitable antenna connections (terrestrial antenna or
broadband cable systems).
Only a proper wall socket connected to the public mains with a voltage of 230 V/50 Hz may be
used as power supply.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not allowed. Do not
expose to moisture, under any circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks or other hazards. Read
the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety

proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting per-
sonal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.
• For safety reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the product
is not permitted.
• The device is designed in compliance with Protection Class II and may only be
powered by a wall socket connected to the public power supply.
• Never touch the device when your hands are wet or damp. There is danger of a
life-threatening electric shock!
• In order to fully disconnect the device from the mains, it must be unplugged from
the power socket.

• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children

• Never pour out any liquids above electrical devices. Do not place any containers
with liquids, such as buckets, vases or plants, in the immediate proximity of the
product. Liquids could get inside the device and thus impair electrical safety. There
is danger of fire or a life-threatening electric shock! If liquid has leaked into the de-
vice, switch off the respective mains socket (e.g. residual current circuit breaker)
and unplug the power adapter from the socket. Do not use the product after that
and take it to a specialist workshop.
• The device may not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations, high
humidity (e.g. droplets or splashes of water) or substantial mechanical stress.
• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or near the device.
• Use the device only in temperate climate zones, do not use in tropical climates.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous play-
thing for children.
• Consult an expert, if you are still in doubt how the product functions, or regarding
safety or connection issues.

please contact our technical support centre or consult a professional.
Connection and start-up
Be careful when dealing with mains connections. Mains voltage may cause fatal
electric shocks.
Make sure that the voltage indicated on the product corresponds with the mains
voltage of your power supply. Never attempt to operate the device with any other
voltage.
The mains socket to which the device is connected must be near the device and
easily accessible, so that the device can be quickly isolated from the mains power
supply in the event of any fault.
• Unplug the existing antenna cable of your receiving device (TV or radio) from your antenna
socket.
• Connect the integrated antenna cable of the two-device amplifier to the antenna socket
where your receiving device was plugged in before.
• Connect your receiving device's antenna cable which you removed previously to one of the
free antenna connectors "TV1" or "TV2".
• You have the option to connect one more television set or radio to the two-device amplifier.
• Plug the two-device amplifier into the suitable wall socket and start using it.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use aggressive detergents as these can cause discolouration of the case.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with
applicable regulatory guidelines.

ronment.
