Mounting the SV2800 Appliance

The SV2800 appliance comes with a slide-rail kit which can be mounted on to 19" 4-post equipment racks with a depth ranging from 27.75"
- 37", with square mounting holes. If you are installing the appliance in an enclosed equipment rack, you must provide sufficient airflow to
present the appliance from overheating, which can cause damage.

Note: The SV2800 appliance cannot be supported using only the front mounting brackets with cable guides. Be sure
to fully support the appliance by using the front and rear mounting brackets!

Note: The slide rails are not asymmetrical in design; be sure to install the correct slide rail for the left and right sides.
To install the appliance into a standard equipment rack, follow the steps contained within the illustrations below.
1. Expose the inner slide from the slide rail assembly by pulling it out until it hits the stops.
2. Press down on the release trigger and remove the inner rail.
3. Install the inner slide onto the chassis by aligning it with the posts and pulling towards the front of the appliance.

4. Release the safety lock by pressing it rearward.
5. Attach the slide-rail assembly to the equipment rack by aligning and pressing in the front and end brackets into the rack mounting
holes.
6. Engage the safety lock by pressing it forward to secure the slide rail.
