5.4 PREPARING ThE TPX3 TO CAPTURE DATA FRAMES ON ThE
VEhIClE
at this point, you need to capture 4 data frames that the ecu sends each
time a key is inserted into the ignition. You have to prepare a blank or
overwritten tPX3 and set it to data capture mode (sniff) to capture the
information from the vehicle and store it on the transponder itself. the
preparation process for the tPX3 starts by inserting a blank tPX3 into the
plastic capsule that comes with the machine (see picture).
TPX3 (BlANK)
insert the capsule with the blank tPX3 incorporated into the trs-5000 and
press coPY.

Press [COPY]
if the tPX3 has been used before, the trs will detect that and you can use
it again, as many times as you want, by deleting it.
a message will appear on screen indicating that the first step has been
completed successfully.
TPX3 NOT Blank
Delete? CP=YES
if the preparation process for capturing the tPX3 data (data capture mode
(sniff)) is completed successfully, step 1 is over and the trs is now ready
to read the transponder with the information captured from the vehicle.
Success
Go to the car
now go to the vehicle with the customer's original key and your prepa-
red tPX3 in data capture mode (sniff), as shown in the picture (Fig.6), to
capture the information from the vehicle.

to capture the vehicle data, follow the sequence below:
a)
insert the original key in the vehicle's ignition together with the prepa-
red tPX3 as shown in the picture below:
b)
then turn the original key/tPX3 unit to the position prior to starting.
c)
return the key to the original position and remove it from the ignition.
d)
repeat this operation 4 times.

5.5 READING ThE CAPTURED DATA
once the procedure for changing to tPX3 data capture mode (sniff) has
been completed successfully, the trs5000 will be on standby to read the
data recorded. to do this, insert the plastic capsule with the tPX3 you have
brought from the vehicle inside, insert the whole unit in the trs-5000 and
press read

once the data capture has been completed, these data frames from the
vehicle have to be copied into the raM of the trs. to do this, press coPY
without removing the tPX3 from the trs-5000

Copy? CP = YES
if the copying process for the data frames captured in the raM of the
trs is completed correctly, the following message will appear:
Step 2 successful.

5.6 MAKING ThE COPY

at this point, the trs is ready for the original key to be inserted again in
order to start the search process. so insert the customer's original key
and press coPY.

Press [COPY]
once you have pressed coPY, the secret code calculation process will
start. this takes less than 1 minute for 95% of keys.

once the secret code has been discovered, the trs will show the
message "Key Found" on the display.
Key found...
after the successful conclusion of the search for the secret code, to
complete the cloning process, insert either the transponder used during the
data capture (sniff) phase or any other blank or overwritten transponder.
after you press the coPY button, the display will indicate whether the
process has been successful or not.
Reins. Sniff TPX3
Copy? CP = YES
Finally, the program allows you to make as many copies of the key as you
want, without having to repeat the previous steps.
You only have to insert another tPX3 transponder, blank or overwritten,
and press the coPY button to make another clone exactly like the one
before.
Another copy?
Copy? CP = YES
This screen and the possibility of making more
copies only appear if the original cloning pro-
cess has been carried out successfully at
least once.
To make this new copy, you do not have to go
back to the vehicle to capture any information
nor do you have to use the original key again.
Step 3 successful
