As the TPh-Cloner and the TPX_Cloner take
longer to start up than the TRS5000, switch the
TPh-cloner on first and the TPX_Cloner will
also come on automatically.
Then, once both cloners' (TPh + TPX) leds
have gone green, turn on the TRS5000.
the following messages will be shown successively on the display:
1. the Firmware version for the trs5000.

Messages 3 and 4 will only appear if the res-
pective cloners (TPX / TPh) are connected.
Message 5, which shows the different rea-
ding codes on the display, is only visible if the
READ button is kept pressed during the swit-
ching on process for the TRS.
once the trs5000 shows messages numbers 3 and 4, having consecuti-
vely followed the correct switching in sequence (tPh-cloner // tPX-cloner
// trs5000), you are then ready to clone both Philips and texas crypto
keys.
5 MESSAGE SEQUENCE AND OPERATION OF ThE
TPh-ClONER
For cloning on tPX3, (using the tPhcloner and the trs5000), the copying
sequence, the associated messages and the buttons to press are as fo-
llows:
5.1 READING AND RECOGNISING A KEY IN TRS5000 MODE.
insert the customer's original key that you want to copy and carry out the
reading

the trs5000 will indicate the type of Philips crypto the key has.
depending on the type, which could be a transponder in wedge format or
an electronic simulation, you will see one message or another.
First Case:
with the type PcF7936wedge format transponders, the message that
appears is "tP12 Phil crypto" (denomination previously used at JMa).
Second Case:
with electronic simulation circuits, different messages will appear on
the display depending on the chip the key has, "TP12-PhC-PCF7941",
"TP12-PCF7946-PhC", "TP12 -PCF7947-PhC", etc.
as new formats are analysed, these will be added.

Third Case:
in the cases of electronic simulation in which you do not know the code,
the following message will appear on screen "Philips crypt ii", until it has
been analysed and updated in a new version.

5.2 ACTIVATING ThE TPh-ClONER.

once you have determined the type of Philips key inserted, press the
coPY button with the original key inserted in the trs-5000 to activate
the tPh_cloner.

once communication has been satisfactorily established, the trs will
indicate this by showing the following message: "TPh Cloner Ready".

MODE.
with the customer's original key inserted in the trs-5000 press the read
button.
