Single Firing mode
1. Ensure the 'Single Firing' is selected on Single/Contact Firing Selector (9)
2. Hold the Handle (6) of the tool firmly so the magazine is flat to the workpiece, forming a 90° angle
3. Depress the Safety Contact Pin (1) against the workpiece (Image H)
4. Squeeze the Trigger (4) to fire the nail/staple (Image I)
5. Release the Trigger and the Safety Contact Pin after firing
6. Repeat steps 2–4 to continue nailing/stapling
Note: The Safety Contact Pin must be depressed before the Trigger is squeezed.
Contact Firing mode
1. Ensure the 'Contact Firing' is selected on Single/Contact Firing Selector (9)

2. Squeeze the Trigger (4) and do not release (Image K)
3. Depress the Safety Contact Pin (1) against the workpiece to fire the nail/staple
4. Release the Safety Contact Pin from the workpiece using the kickback from the tool after firing and
continue to squeeze the Trigger
5. Repeat steps 3–4 to continue nailing/stapling (Image L)
Note: The Trigger must be kept squeezed all the time for the tool to fire a nail/staple on every Safety Contact
Pin depression against the workpiece.
WARNING: DO NOT keep the Trigger depressed when the tool is not in use. Keeping the Trigger in might
cause accidental firing when the tool is not in use and could cause a serious personal injury.
Removing a jammed nail or staple
WARNING: ALWAYS remove the Battery (7) from the tool before fixing a jam. Failure to remove the Battery
could result in serious personal injury.
Note: This problem is indicated on the LED Indicator (12) as a flashing Red LED.
Note: If there is a jam, the jammed nail/staple must be removed before continuing work. Otherwise, it could
damage the tool.
1. Ensure the Battery is removed from the tool
2. Open the Magazine (11) by pressing the Magazine Lock/Release Latch (10)
3. Remove the nails/staples
4. Remove the jammed nails/staples (Image N)
If the nails/staples remain jammed:
5. If there is still a jam after following the above directions, use the Hex Key (20) supplied to slightly loosen
the hex screws on the nose piece (Image O)
Note: Only loosen the hex screws. Do not remove the nozzle cover. Only loosen the two hex screws shown
in Image O.
6. Remove the jammed nail/staple, with pliers if necessary
7. After the nail/staple has been successfully removed, re-tighten the nose piece securely with the Hex Key
and hex screws
8. Reload the nails/staples into the Magazine and re-attach the Battery

Troubleshooting

Problem
Nailer does not fire
9. Attempt a test fire. If no nail/staple fires, open the Magazine and remove the nails/staples. Keep the
Magazine open and fire the nailer two times
10. Reload the nails/staples and close the Magazine and continue work

WARNING: Remove battery from the tool before cleaning and performing maintenance operations.
Cleaning
Keep your machine clean at all times
Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and shorten the tool's service life
Clean the body of your tool with a soft brush, or dry cloth
If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes

Storage
After use, store this tool and its accessories in its case, in a dry, secure place out of the reach of children
Store out of direct sunlight
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional and are
not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), with household
waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose of power tools
Possible cause
No Battery (7)
Battery not charged; this problem will be indicated on the LED Indicator
(12) as a solid Red LED
Magazine (11) empty; this problem will be indicated on the LED
Indicator as a solid Green LED
There is a nail or staple jammed; this problem will be indicated on the
LED Indicator as a flashing Red LED
Incorrect size nail or staple used

Solution
Insert a fully-charged Battery (see 'Fitting a battery')
Insert a fully-charged Battery (see 'Charging the battery')
Refill the Magazine with fasteners (see 'Inserting nails or staples into
the magazine')
See 'Removing a jammed nail or staple'. If the problem persists, consult
a qualified GMC technician
Remove all nails/staples. See 'Specifications' or Fig. II for compatible
sizes. Consult a GMC dealer for their range of nails/staples
