SICCO Gas-saving valve
» During gas-filling the sealing ball is lifted due to the gas flow and
the pass is opened.
» When the gas-filling process is completed the sealing ball drops
due to its own weight and closes the pass. An unwanted backflow
of the gas or of the ambient air into the work chamber is no longer
possible. Such backflow can occur e.g. through movements inside
the glove box or when you slide in or off the gloves.
Attention: Since the sealing ball only drops because of its own

weight the SICCO Gas-saving valve does not provide a complete
protection against the loss of gas. However if moved carefully
inside the glove box the gas consumption can be reduced to a
minimum respectively can completely be interrupted. It's the users
liability to provide a proper gas supply.
