Answer memory
Everytime you perform a calculation using any of the following keys, the result is automatically
stored in the Answer Memory:

mantissa and 2 for the exponent. The contents are kept even if you press
mode or turn off the calculator; but they are not updated if the operation results in an error.
Independent memory
You can input, add or subtract results from an independent memory.

to add the displayed value or result of the expression to the independent memory.
