The Auto-Assistant is only intended for use as a means of
transport and equipment for office documents. It is primarily
designed for use on the passenger seat of a vehicle. When used
in the vehicle it is imperative, that the safety belt is securely
fastened before setting off.
Danger from an unsecured Auto-Assistant
Severe or fatal injuries can result from the Auto-Assistant being
incorrectly secured.
▶ Check the safety belt for damage or defects.
▶ Make sure that the belt lock is properly engaged.
Personal injury and material damage from unsecured load
Braking, accelerating, taking bends or swerving causes forces on
the cargo. The load can slide and fly around. This can result in
personal injury and material damage.
▶ Note the maximum load-bearing capacity of 12 kg.
▶ Lock the Auto-Assistant before setting off.
▶ Make sure that the load is evenly distributed.
Check the following elements regularly for wear or damage.
• Safety belt,
• Auto-Assistant restraint system,
• Cover lock.
Interval
• At least every 5,000 km,
• After any unusual loads.
e.g. emergency braking.
Care
Clean the Auto-Assistant with a wet cloth if dirty. Avoid harsh
cleaning agents, as they could damage the Auto-Assistant.
