1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Headset BH-840USB, eine Kombination aus dy-
namischem Kopfhörer und Elektret-Mikrofon, eignet
sich optimal für Sprachanwendungen (z. B. Telefonie)
am Computer. Es kann mit seinem USB-Stecker di-
rekt an einen Computer mit USB 1.1- oder USB 2.0-
Schnittstelle angeschlossen werden und ist durch die
Verwendung betriebssystemeigener Standardtreiber
für Audiogeräte sofort einsatzbereit.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Das Headset entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtli-
nien der EU und ist deshalb mit
Setzen Sie das Headset nur im Innenbereich ein.
Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher
Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatz-
temperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein angefeuchte-
tes, weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien.
Wird das Headset zweckentfremdet, falsch ange-
schlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann
keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder
Personenschäden und keine Garantie für das Head-
set übernommen werden.

1 Applications
The headset BH-840USB, a combination of dynamic
headphones and electret microphone, is ideally suited
for speech applications (e. g. telephony) at the com-
puter. Its USB plug allows direct connection to a com-
puter with USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 interface. The headset
is immediately ready for operation due to the use of
standard drivers of the operating system which are
provided for audio units.
2 Important Notes
The headset corresponds to all required directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with
The headset is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).
For cleaning only use a slightly wet, soft cloth,
never use chemicals.
No guarantee claims for the headset and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material dam-
age will be accepted if the headset is used for other
purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly
connected, or not repaired in an expert way.
If the headset is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the en-
vironment.

3 Inbetriebnahme
1) Das Headset mit dem USB-Anschluss eines Com-
puters verbinden. Das Mikrofon und der Kopfhörer
werden daraufhin vom Betriebssystem als zwei
USB-Audiogeräte (Toneingabe und -ausgabe) er-
kannt.
Bei Bedarf die vom Betriebssystem geforderten
Gerätetreiber nachinstallieren und den Computer
neu starten.
2) Die Lautstärke für das Mikrofon und den Kopfhörer
kann über die Steuerungsmöglichkeiten des Be-
triebssystems für den Audio-Ein- und -Ausgang
getrennt eingestellt werden.

zeichnete Hörmuschel auf dem linken Ohr, die mit
„R" bezeichnete auf dem rechten Ohr aufliegt. Die

3 Operation
1) Connect the headset to the USB connection of a
computer. Then the microphone and the head-
phones will be recognized by the operating system
as two USB audio units (audio input and audio
output).
If necessary, install the drivers required by the
operating system and restart the computer.
2) The volume for the microphone and the head-
phones can separately be adjusted for the audio
input and audio output via the control facilities of
the operating system.

3) Put on the headphones so that the earpiece let-
tered with "L" covers the left ear, the earpiece let-
tered with "R" covers the right ear. The metal
brackets from which the earpieces are suspended
can be vertically displaced. Thus, the headphones
can be adapted to the head size.
4) Align the microphone so that it is positioned slightly
below the mouth.
