Troubleshooting

Whenever the appliance does not work properly, try to solve the less serious problems using
this table.
FAULT
The gas appliance does not turn
on
In the cooking compartment
there are stains
The pilot light does not go on
The pilot light goes on but the fla-
me does not stay lit
The fryer does not cook correctly
The burner flame goes off during
operation
If the problem cannot be resolved, turn the appliance off, disconnect it from the electrical mains
and shut all the supply valves. Then contact authorized customer service

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Mains tap closed
• Air in the pipe
• Water quality
• Poor cleanser
• Poor rinse
• Check the circuit of the piezoe-
lectric igniter
• The pilot light is obstructed
• Gas valve shut
• Gas valve or thermostat dama-
ged
• Thermocouple damaged
• Triggered safety thermostat
• Damaged gas valve
• Problems with the gas pressure
• Gas valve thermostat bulb posi-
tion
• Gas valve
• Problems with the gas pressure
• Primary air not adequate
• Incorrect nozzles

INTERVENTION
• Open the mains tap
• Repeat the ignition operation
• Filter the water (see softener )
• Use the recommended deter-
gent
• Repeat rinsing
• Replace cable, glow plug or piezo
• Replace/Clean pilot light nozzle
• Open gas valve
• Replace valve or thermostat (see
chap. 7 Replacement of compo-
nents)
• Replace the Thermocouple
• Reset the safety thermostat
• Replace the gas valve
• Verify the gas pressure to the noz-
zle
• Set the bulb in the correct position
• Use an external thermometer to
check the oil temperature in the
tank - if not correct, replace the
valve
• Check the dynamic gas pressure
(all machines on)
• Adjust the primary air
• Replace the nozzles
