Use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
The product splits a PoE RJ45 cable (RJ45 connection cable with 10/100/1000MBit trans-
mission and voltage supply according to IEEE802.3af/IEEE802.3at) into a standard RJ45
connection (without a voltage supply) and a current connection for the network component
(for example Network Switch, DSL Router or Network Camera). The output voltage can be
switched between 5 V dc, 7.5V dc, 9 V dc and 12V dc.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these opera-
ting instructions.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to
observe these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any

Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissi-
ble because of safety and approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the pro-
duct.
• The product is only intended for use in dry, indoor locations. No part of the
product must get damp or wet.
• Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures (<0°C or >+50 °C), direct
sunlight, vibration or humidity.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or acci-
dental drops, even from a low height.
Connection
The product splits a PoE RJ45 cable (RJ45 connection cable with 10/100/1000MBit transmis-
sion and voltage supply according to IEEE802.3af/IEEE802.3at) into a standard RJ45 con-
nection (without a voltage supply) and a current connection for the network component (for
example Network Switch, DSL Router, Network Camera).
The output voltage can be switched between 5 V dc, 7.5V dc, 9 V dc and 12 V dc; observe
the imprint on the lateral switch.
Prior to connecting the PoE splitter to your network device, check which operating voltage
your network device requires. Furthermore, pay attention that the max. output current of the
PoE splitter is not exceeded (see "Technical Data").

Attention!
This cable is to be connected directly between PoE Injector (5) and PoE Splitter
(7); it must not be connected to another network device that is not PoE-compa-
tible (e.g. network switch)!

A LED on the PoE splitter indicates an available PoE voltage and network con-
nection.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance. You should never take it apart.
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not apply too much pressure on the housing,
this could result in scratch marks.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions,
since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in line with the relevant statutory
regulations.
