Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Produkt dient zum Anschluss von bis zu zwei Geräten mit RS232-Schnittstelle an einen USB-Port
eines PCs.
Das Produkt entspricht den gesetzlichen, nationalen und europäischen Anforderungen. Alle enthaltenen Fir-
mennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzeichen der jeweiligen Inhaber. Alle Rechte vorbehalten.

Treiber-Installation
• Legen Sie die mitgelieferte CD in das entsprechende Laufwerk Ihres PCs ein.
• Abhängig von dem von Ihnen verwendeten Betriebssystem ist der Treiber im entsprechenden Unterver-
zeichnis der CD zu installieren. Folgen Sie allen Anweisungen des Installationsprogramms.
Anschluss

Falls noch nicht geschehen, so installieren Sie zuerst den Treiber der mitgelieferten CD, siehe
Abschnitt „Treiber-Installation".
• Stecken Sie den USB-Stecker des USB-2x RS232-Kabels in einen USB-Port Ihres Computers.
• Windows erkennt neue Hardware und schließt die Treiberinstallation ab.
• Die beiden 9poligen SubD-Stecker können jetzt jeweils mit einem entsprechenden RS232-Port eines Ge-
räts verbunden werden.
Verfügt das Gerät über einen 25poligen RS232-Port, so ist ein 9/25-Adapter (nicht im Lieferumfang, muss
getrennt bestellt werden) einzusetzen.
Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen.

Driver installation
• Place the installation CD supplied in an appropriate drive on your PC.
• Depending on the operating system you use, the driver to be installed can be found in the corresponding
subfolder on the CD. Follow all of the installation program's instructions.
Connection

• Insert the USB plug on the USB-2x RS232 cable into a USB port on your computer.
• Windows recognises the new hardware and completes the driver installation.
• Each of the two 9-pin SubD plugs can now be connected to a corresponding RS232 port on a device.
If the device has a 25-pin RS232 port, a 9/25 adapter (not included, ordered separately) has to be inserted.
