Introduction
Thank you for selecting the FLIR Moisture Meter Probe MR06 (wall cavity probe), MR07
(hammer probe), or MR08 (hammer/wall cavity combo). Connect the probe to a moisture
meter (FLIR MR77, MR160, or MR176) to measure moisture in wood & other building materials.
Safety Instructions
 This device should be used only for purposes outlined in this guide. Misuse may cause
damage to the probe and/or external devices, and can cause personal injury.
 Keep the probe packed when not in use.
 Do not allow children to handle the probe or the pins.

Operating Instructions

Carefully remove the probe and pins from the packaging (extra pins are provided).

Screw the pins into the probe and use the supplied wrench to securely tighten.

Connect the probe to the moisture meter using the supplied BNC/RJ45 cable (BNC
connection on probe and RJ45 connection on FLIR moisture meters).

Position the pins on the material under test.

Drive the pins into the material under test using the sliding hammer action force to assist
(for MR07 & MR08). For the MR06 use a hammer or other tool to drive the probe pins.

Operate the FLIR Moisture Meter as described in the User Guide supplied with the meter.

Warranty
FLIR Systems, Inc. warrants this device to be free of defects in parts and workmanship for 2 (two) years from date of shipment providing:
 Device is purchased from FLIR Commercial Systems or an Authorized reseller
 Device is registered online at www.flir.com/test/warranty within 60 days of shipment
 FLIR is notified within 30 days of a defect being found
 Contact FLIR Return Material Authorization before returning the product for a Return Authorization number
 The sender is responsible for shipping charges, freight, insurance and proper packaging to prevent damage in transit.
This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from action of the user such as misuse, improper wiring, operation outside of specification,
improper maintenance or repair, or unauthorized modification.
FLIR SYSTEMS, INC. SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE AND WILL
