Car Ioniser

Prescribed use
This car ioniser is used to clean and refresh the air and therefore, it provides an enhanced and
comfortable indoor climate while driving in your vehicle.
Through the creation of a high number of negative ions, the car ioniser filters the air in your vehi-
cle most effectively.
The car ioniser has an automatic shut-off timer (after 15 minutes) to prevent over-ionisation.
The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
The voltage is supplied via 12 V/DC of the cigarette lighter.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instruction must be followed at all times.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.

Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling, oper-
ation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The product must not be modified or converted, as not only the CE approval
will become void but also the warranty.
• In addition, follow the safety and operating instructions of any other
devices that are connected to the device.
• Do not operate the product when it is covered.
• The product should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sun-
light, intense vibration or heavy mechanical strain.
• The voltage is supplied via 12 V/DC of the cigarette lighter.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the product requires some time to
adjust to the surrounding temperature. Wait until the product has adjusted
to the ambient temperature before use.
• Electronic devices are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of chil-
dren!
• Please contact qualified personnel if you are unsure about the safety or the
correct use of the product.
• Never leave the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic film/bags
etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage,
- the device no longer functions and
- it has been stored for longer periods under unfavourable conditions
or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit
• The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations. It must not get
damp or wet.
• Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls from a low height
and any pressure applied to the product can damage the device.
• Persons with asthma or bronchial diseases should consult their doctor pri-
or to use of the product in order to ensure that their health is not impaired
by the operation of the car ioniser.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices. You run the risk of causing
a fire or a fatal electric shock.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified
specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical service or another specialist.

• Connect the cigarette lighter plug of the car ioniser to the jack of the cigarette lighter (exclu-
sively 12V/DC !) of your vehicle.
• Confirm with the button on the housing of the car ioniser. The status LED then begins to flash
in green approx. every 5 seconds to confirm.
The car ioniser now is operational for 15 minutes and then switches off automatically to prevent
an over-ionisation. When the 15 minutes have passed, press the key on the housing again in
order to reactivate the car ioniser.
You can deactivate the car ioniser by pressing the button on the housing again within the 15 min-
utes.
Replacing the fine wire fuse (type: 250V 5F500mA L)
In order to ensure correct replacement of the fine wire fuse, proceed as follows:
• Remove the auto-ionizer from the cigarette lighter.
• Unscrew the front cap.
• Remove the defect fine wire fuse.
• Insert a new fine wire fuse (type: 250V 5F500mA L).
• Screw the front cap back on.
Maintenance and Cleaning
This product is maintenance-free.
To clean the outside of the car ioniser, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents.

The product must not be operated in the airbag deployment area since this
may cause injuries to the passengers in the event of an accident.
Therefore, you should secure the product in a place where it cannot be dan-
gerous to passengers.
Make sure the car ioniser is de-energised during cleaning.
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
When disposing of an unserviceable product, do so in keeping with the rele-
vant statutory regulations.
