IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

• Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values stated on the product's rating plate. Do not connect the unit
to adapter plugs or extension cables.
• Do not use this unit with any programmable device, timer, or any other product that turns the unit on automatically;
if the unit is covered or installed incorrectly a fire may occur.
• Place the unit on a stable and heat-resistant surface out of the reach of other heat sources.
• Do not leave the unit unattended while it is turned on or even only plugged into the wall outlet.
• When plugging the unit into the wall outlet and disconnecting it from the power network the mode selector has to
be switched to 0 (off).
• When disconnecting the unit from the wall outlet, never pull the power cord. Grasp the plug and disconnect it by
pulling.
• Do not install the unit directly under the wall outlet.
• The unit should be installed in such a way that the plug remains accessible at all times.
• Keep the minimum safe distance of at least 100 cm between the unit and flammable materials, such as furniture,
curtains, lace, blankets, paper, clothing, and so on.
• Keep the air inlet and outlet grilles free (a minimum of 100 cm in front and 50 cm behind the unit). WARNING! The outlet
grille reaches temperatures exceeding 80 °C during operation. Do not touch the grille. There is a risk of burning.
• Do not cover the unit. There is a risk of overheating. Do not use the unit for drying clothes.
• Do not hang anything above or in front of the unit.
• Do not use the unit in any way other than the way described in this manual.
• The unit may be operated in the upright position only.
• Do not use the unit close to a shower, bathtub, washbasin or swimming pool.
• Do not use the unit in an environment with explosive gases or flammable substances (solvents, varnishes, adhesives,
etc.).
• Turn the unit off, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, and let the unit cool down before cleaning and
after use.
• Keep the unit clean. Do not let any objects enter the unit through the grilles. This could cause a short circuit, damage
to the unit, or fire.
• Do not use abrasive or chemically aggressive substances for cleaning the unit.
• Never use an appliance with a damaged power cord or plug. Contact an authorized service center immediately to
have the defective components repaired or replaced.
• Do not use the unit if it does not operate properly, or if it has been dropped, damaged or exposed to any liquids. Refer
the unit to an authorized service center for testing and repair.
• The unit is not designed for outdoor use.
• The unit is suitable for domestic use only. It is not designed for commercial operation.
