The Schell pressure balance valve adjusts the often different pressures of the cold and warm water

in a system at the outlet side to the fitting connection to a similar level. Thus, washbasin fittings
can be connected with the same cold and warm water pressures.
Advantages:
1. Local flow heater (Fig. 1)
For sensor fittings with a temperature mixing shaft, due to the same connection pressure,
temperature mixing is prevented on the cold water side, which results in a reduction
of the maximum hot water fittings. This, particularly in conjunction with small flow heaters,
results in a significant loss in comfort.
2. Central warm water heater (Fig. 2)
Suddenly occurring pressure fluctuations in only one supply line are compensated
temperature peaks at the valve outlet are prevented (risk of scalding)
3. Central warm water heater (Fig. 2)
The mixing ratio of single-lever mixers improve with the same supply pressures:
