To store more pictures, you need to insert an SD card (not included) into your digital
camera so you can save your files.

To insert the memory card:

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Open the mini USB/SD card/battery compartment by pulling the latch down. Insert the

3. Turn the camera on. The memory card icon "SD" should be visible on the LCD screen.
4. To remove the card, push it in slightly to release it from the slot.

• Keep the SD card in "unlock" status before using.
• Always turn the camera off when you insert or remove an SD card.
• We recommend that you purchase a good quality SD card.
Press and hold the Power button (2) to turn the camera on. When you turn the camera
on, the red Power LED indicator (6) illuminates. You can hear a beep sound and the LCD
screen lights up to confirm the camera is ready for use.
Press the Power button (2) once more to turn the camera off. A beep will sound and the
screen will go blank.
Note: To save battery power, the camera will auto standby after a period of inactivity (30
seconds approximately). Press the Power button (2) to reactivate the camera. You can
change the auto power-off time by setting the function "Auto Power Off" (see the "Setup"
section).
