Dust which occurs during your work is hazardous to health. That is why it is
advisable to use a deduster (Dust class M) and to wear a dust mask on dry
drilling. As a suitable wet/dry deduster, our DSS 35 M iP is available as
add-on. The use of a dedusting system is also a prerequisite for optimal
cutting performance of the bit.
Mark the position and diameter of the desired hole, as shown below. When
drilling, make sure that the drill bit drills exactly in the middle of the marked
square.
Make a slight tumbling movement when drilling – see illustration.
CAUTION!
Do not apply too much pressure when drilling. Excessive pressure will
cause strong heating of the drill bit and material.

An LED lamp is fitted on the handle for a
better view of the drill hole - see arrow.
You should switch this on for drilling and
switch it off again after drilling
