– It must be ensured that no one can trip over the power cable.
– A splash proof function in connection with a plug is only achieved if the plug is likewise splash
proof (IP44).
– With an additional extension, use an extension cable approved for outdoors with plugs of the
protection type IP 44.
– Don't plug in several external plug sockets one after another, and don't connect more than 4
power consumers to the external plug socket.
– If two, three or more plug sockets are used at the same time, the nominal current 16 A must not be
exceeded.
– In using the plug socket the line must be unwound.
7 Cleaning
Pull out the mains plug before you clean the external plug socket. For electrical safety reasons the product
has to be cleaned with a dry or damp cloth. Don't use any strong detergents or chemicals (solvents, petrol,
etc.) and no rough sponges. Never immerse the external plug socket in water.
8 Faults and elimination (FAQ)
External plug socket does not work.

F Check the supply cable.
F Check the housing for external damages.
F Check the mains voltage.
Please observe that all further repairs must only be carried out by a specialist.

The declaration of conformity can be requested from the address given on the warranty card.

10 Disposal information

Old appliances must not be disposed of in the solid waste!
If it is not possible to use the external plug socket any more, thus every consumer is legally bound
to dispose of old appliances separate from the solid waste, e.g. at a collection point of the local
municipality / district.
This guarantees that old appliances are used properly.
That is why electric appliances are marked with the following symbol.
