7.2 Venting the system

WARNING Hazard of scalding due to hot liquid or steam escaping at
the vent valve or due to contact with the vent pot.

Only vent the system if the red thermometer shows a
temperature value of < 50 °C.

The solar liquid flows into the vent pot from the top (1). The so-
lar liquid hits the surface, air bubbles are separated and rise to
the top. The air collects in the upper part of the vent pot. This
air can be removed from the system by manual venting:

Close the valve as soon as solar liquid escapes.
