2. Usage / Verwendung
1. Connect the IB-1815WP-C31 via the delivered cable to the corresponding
port of your host computer.
1. Verbinden Sie die IB-1815WP-C31 mittels des beiliegenden Kabels mit
dem entsprechenden Anschluss Ihres Computers.
2. When the IB-1815WP-C31 has been plugged correctly the LED will turn
on white!
2. Wurde die IB-1815WP-C31 richtig eingesteckt, leuchtet die LED weiß auf.
3. As soon as the write protection has been activated by switch, the LED lights
up red*
3. Sobald der Schreibschutz per Schalter aktiviert wurde, leuchtet die LED
rot auf*
*Important! Changing of the write-protect mode will only be activated
when the device has been disconnected and then reconnected to the host
computer.
*Wichtig! Die Änderung des Schreibschutzmodus erfolgt nur, wenn das
Gerät getrennt und dann wieder mit dem Hostcomputer verbunden wurde.
3. Application / Anwendung
3.1 The external SSD can be connected to or disconnected from the computer
without shutting down the computer.
3.1 Die externe SSD kann im laufenden Betrieb des Rechners angeschlossen
oder von diesem getrennt werden.
3.2 Please await the end of read/write operations before disconnecting the
SSD to avoid data loss.
3.2 Bitte das Ende von Schreib- und Lesevorgängen abwarten bevor ein
angeschlossenes Gehäuse vom Rechner getrennt wird, um Datenverlust zu
vermeiden.
3.3 A new SSD must first be initialized, partitioned and formatted by the
operation system to be displayed by the system.
3.3 Eine neue SSD muss vom Betriebssystem erst initialisiert, partitioniert und
formatiert werden, um vom System angezeigt zu werden.
