Before First Use

Remove the hedge trimmer and the accessory from the packaging. Dispose of
packaging materials out of reach of small children. There is risk of suffocation!
Use the included screws (12) to attach the front hand guard (3).
Adjusting the Wording Position
Pull the locking button (6) back to adjust the angle setting of the motor housing.
Pull and hold the button and turn the motor housing into the desired position.
Release the locking button in order to fix the desired angle setting. The handle
can be turned 90° into each direction (see drawing on page III). The handle must
have firmly snapped into position before you start working.

Operation

1. Connect the plug of the hedge trimmer with
the extension cord and a wall socket.
2. Form a loop with the extension cord and
pass it through the opening in the handle.
Hook the extension cord on the cable run (8).
3. Remove the blade bar protection (10).
4. To switch on the hedge trimmer, first press
the auxiliary safety switch (4) and then press
the ON/OFF switch (7). When working with
the hedge trimmer please always hold the
unit firmly with both hands, one hand on the
handle and the other hand on the auxiliary
handle (4). For switching off the unit, release
the switches.
5. Before adjusting the angle of inclination first
disconnect from power mains.
