Before the first Use
Dispose of any packaging material not required or keep it in a place not accessible
to children. Risk of suffocation!
The Height measuring/marking device is not a toy and does not belong in the
hands of children.
Please note that the Height measuring/marking device is a sensitive precision
device that needs to be handled with due care. Do not expose it to sudden shocks
or strong mechanical influences or magnetic fields and do not let it fall.
Keep the Height measuring/marking device dry and do not allow liquids of any kind
to penetrate into the housing.
Button Functions
OFF – Switching off
mm/inch – Switching between metric and imperial measuring system
ON/ZERO – Switching on and setting zero point
ADD+ – Adding a preselected value
SUB- – Subtracting a preselected value
The Data Socket
The data socket serves to calibrate the apparatus during manufacture and is not
intended for use by the customer.
Important Notes
1. Clean the protective sticker (9) with a dry cloth or a little cleaning oil before
use. Do not allow water to come into contact with the sticker.
2. Operating conditions: temperature: 5-40 °C, relative humidity: < 80 %.
3. Do not expose the apparatus to voltage, e. g. by engraving with a spark
engraver. This can damage the electronics.
4. The measuring and scribing tip is very sharp. Take care not to injure
yourself.
5. Keep the apparatus, and especially the fine adjustment knob, free of chips
and contamination.
6. When using the hand wheel (3), always ensure that neither the clamp
screw (7) nor the clamping lever (6) are tightened, otherwise the coarse
adjustment knob may be damaged.
