Battery usage

The Headlight MedLED Sapphire
central charging port that routes power to both batteries and user-friendly, hot-swappable
rechargeable batteries.
• Before first use, charge the batteries for 16 – 24 hours; otherwise charge for 6 hours
The sections given below will help you to charge the Headlight MedLED Sapphire
correctly, so that you will be able to experience maximum performance when using the device.

Battery charge indicator

Five green status LEDs (1) to (5) are located on the left-hand battery compartment. Each
status LED represents a portion of the remaining battery life.
NOTICE
Inaccuracies in the display!
Occasionally, the check circuitry will read an incorrect charge. We therefore recommend
observing the charging times (see chapter 4.1 "Charging times", page 27) and the charging
instructions (see chapter 4.3 "Charging process", page 28).
